How to use this resource
- Open the file in a browser and print it or save it as a PDF.
- List a subject, a bounded study block, and one cue that asks what you will recall or solve.
- At the end of each block, note what needs a second pass rather than assuming the plan worked perfectly.
Plan for what you can revisit
A study plan becomes more useful when it includes a question about how you will check understanding. A retrieval or review cue might ask you to explain a concept without notes, solve one representative problem, or name the source of an argument.
The planner is deliberately open-ended. It does not prescribe a study method, estimate grades, or know your course schedule; adapt it to the approaches and support that work for you.
Examples of review cues
- “Explain the central claim in two sentences without reopening the reading.”
- “Solve one problem, then identify the step where I paused.”
- “List two terms I would need to define in a discussion.”
Use it for a weekly reset
- Copy confirmed deadlines from official course materials.
- Choose short blocks around work, care, and rest commitments.
- Add a review cue to each block.
- After studying, update the next block with what you actually need.
